The barbet breed seems to be susceptible to some genetic health conditions such as hip dysplasia, epilepsy and entropion (eye disease). With the population of Barbet being so limited, responsible breeders health test their dogs and receive certification from board certified specialists that their dogs are free of conditions that are considered to have a genetic component. They share this information on the public databases and make the clearance certificates available to those interested in purchasing their puppies.

We genuinely love the barbet breed and are proud that we have joined some other wonderful people to help preserve and maintain this wonderful ancient breed. Our goal is to produce wonderful friendly trainable dogs that will easily adapt and become a valuable member of their family.

We love spending time with our dogs, whether it is to do sports with them, visit the elderly and sick, or just hiking. It’s very therapeutic for everyone involved and the barbet, LOVE the attention!
